About the Foundation

Centrifuge Network Foundation promotes the development, international growth and expansion of the Centrifuge network, and supports its user community. The Foundation promotes the research and development of economic models and principles, as well as technologies that can serve the Centrifuge network and its community as a decentralized, blockchain-based protocol.

Board members

The Centrifuge Network Foundation board of directors is the governing body of the Foundation which is responsible for ultimate control and oversight of Centrifuge Network Foundation.

Lucas Vogelsang

Lucas Vogelsang

Lucas is a co-founder of Centrifuge. With a background at the crossroads of technology and business, Lucas has led engineering at many startups including CTO & Co-Founder at DeinDeal, a Groupon competitor acquired in 2011 and Taulia, a supply chain finance fintech acquired by SAP in 2022.

Cassidy Daly

Cassidy Daly

Cassidy is a co-founder of Centrifuge. She is an experienced entrepreneur and Economist. She previously worked at the Federal Reserve on interest rate policy. Prior to Centrifuge, she founded and advised multiple companies in the blockchain space. She holds a Master in International Finance from Columbia University.

Markus Ament

Markus Ament

Maex is a serial Fintech entrepreneur who co-founded Centrifuge and has led many companies from early-stage startups to global leaders. Maex is currently the co-founder and GP of Crane Earth and advising a variety of startups in the web3, payment and fintech space.

Philipp Banhardt

Philipp Banhardt

Co-Founder and co-CEO of Violet, privacy preserving and reusable compliance rails for on-chain finance, and Mauve, a compliant DEX for RWAs. Built and led the Filecoin developer grant ecosystem, and worked across various product initiatives at Protocol Labs. He started his career working as an investor at BlueYard.

Chris Padovano

Chris Padovano

Chris is a licensed attorney and co-founder of SCP. Before SCP he spent his time bootstrapping early stage cryptocurrency projects like MakerDAO. He is a 2014 graduate of Boston University School of Law.
