About the Foundation

Centrifuge Network Foundation promotes the development, international growth and expansion of the Centrifuge network, and supports its user community. The Foundation promotes the research and development of economic models and principles, as well as technologies that can serve the Centrifuge network and its community as a decentralized, blockchain-based protocol.

Board members

The Centrifuge Network Foundation board of directors is the governing body of the Foundation which is responsible for ultimate control and oversight of Centrifuge Network Foundation.

Lucas Vogelsang

Lucas Vogelsang

Lucas is a co-founder of Centrifuge. With a background at the crossroads of technology and business, Lucas has led engineering at many startups including CTO & Co-Founder at DeinDeal, a Groupon competitor acquired in 2011 and Taulia, a supply chain finance fintech acquired by SAP in 2022.

Cassidy Daly

Martin Quensel

Martin is the co-founder of Centrifuge. He also founded Anemoy, a web3 native asset manager offering investors access to diverse superior assets. Previously, he co-founded Taulia and Ebydos. Martin’s expertise spans payments, supply chain, and blockchain’s transformative potential.

Markus Ament

Nick Cherney

Nick Cherney is Head of Innovation at Janus Henderson Investors, where he leads long-term strategic initiatives and oversees the firm’s ETF business. Previously, he was CIO and co-founder of VelocityShares, acquired by Janus in 2014. He has also held senior roles at Barclays Capital and Barclays Global Investors, managing over $25 billion in ETF assets.

Philipp Banhardt

Kevin Chan

Kevin is currently a Chef at Steakhouse Financial focused on RWA adoption and growth. Previously, Kevin was Vice President at BlockTower Capital where he led investments and initiatives involving tokenized assets, DeFi, and credit. His career in the crypto industry started in 2017 at Deloitte, where he managed teams applying blockchain solutions to institutional clients within financial services.
